Possibly our most glamorous apron to date is now available in red and the first organic addition to our collection.
Red Heron is our first apron to be made from 100% organic cotton, grown in India and woven in Kerala. Not only is this red denim kind to the environment, it is super soft to wear and just gets better with age.
I've taken the bistro apron up a gear and injected tailoring, beauty and clean lines. Featuring a deep waistband with wraparound ties to ensure the perfect fit, every time.
Available in organic red denim or indigo blue, the Heron apron turns up the heat the moment you step into the kitchen. A cinched in waist, deeply cut to hold you snug, front-fastens with extra long ties that wrap around. As on all Bird aprons, the Heron features good pockets – and these two, no exception: deep, generous and with a tailored welt finish. Discreet hanging loop located on the inner hem, to hang your Heron when your day is done.
Note the tapered pleated detail on the waistband and darted fit around the waist – celebrating our fabulous feminine forms!
“This is hands down my favourite and I love the Nigella vibe” Catriona O’Sullivan, Scotland.
The Heron is made in Plymouth by Makers HQ, a social enterprise housed in the former Jaeger factory, established to reignite fashion and textiles manufacturing in the UK. See our Makers page for more details.
