Indigo Denim Heron Apron

£79.00

Our most glamorous apron yet, inspired by elegance of the Obi belt.

We’ve taken the bistro apron up a gear with tailoring, beauty and clean lines. The Heron apron features a deep waistband with wraparound ties to ensure your perfect fit.

A deep cut, cinched in waist fastens at the front with long wrap-around ties to hold you snug. As with all Bird aprons, the Heron features good pockets:  deep, generous and with a tailored welt finish. We've sewn fitted darts over the tummy area to flatter our feminine forms and keep you feeling svelte.

Plus a discreet hanging loop located on the inner hem to hang your Heron when the day is done.

Also available in organic red denim.

This is hands down my favourite apron and I love the Nigella vibe” Catriona O’Sullivan, Scotland.

The Heron is made in Plymouth by Makers HQ, a social enterprise housed in the former Jaeger factory, established to reignite fashion and textiles manufacturing in the UK.  See our Makers page for more details.

Care

Indigo dye is initially very deep and the denim will fade a little with each wash to give a comfortable appearance. The flip side is that there may be some colour rub when new – so please keep your new denim Heron away from light coloured fabric and upholstery.

To keep your denim looking good it is best to avoid fabric softener. Always follow the washing instructions and stick to a cool wash.

Sizing

Medium size is always in stock.  If you would like to order size Small or Large, the Makers can cut a Heron apron just for you. Simply select the pre-order option at checkout.

Please allow four to six weeks for production.

Here at Bird we care for the environment and encourage you to too

Our aprons and the environment are happier when they're washed on a cool wash

We recommend hanging our aprons on the line, rather than tumble drying
