The Robyn

The original Bird apron and still our bestseller.

Designed for comfort and cut for women, the Robyn apron offers full coverage and a cross-back. Adjustable straps ensure a great fit for all sizes, from petite to tall.

Made with 8oz Texas denim, the Robyn apron features a wide front pocket to park your hands and stash your tools. A discreet, second pocket is dedicated to stowing your pens – never be without your Sharpie again! Designed from experience in the kitchen, there is a tab for your tea towel – ready to grab hot pans and keep your hands clean. On the inner hem, a handy loop to hang your Robyn when your day is done.

Attention to detail is everything and quality is paramount. Look at the deep hems and feel their weight in your hand.  Admire the mitred corners, sewn with care and craft. Enjoy the jolly red bar tacks, placed for strength on every pocket seam.

The fine finish on our Bird aprons,” says designer, Nicola Ridd-Davies, “Reflects my experience of high-end tailoring techniques from my time at Toast.

The Robyn apron is made in Great Yarmouth by a factory that has been running since 1898 and today is home to a team of over 20 craftspeople.  See our Makers page for more details.
